Cable Management

We offer an innovative product in Cable Management. Our product is a rugged, lightweight, ergonomic, hand-held reeling device for deployment, retrieval, handling, and storage of various coil-able products. This product is deployed throughout Europe, USA, UK, and Australia and has been in service with Defence Forces throughout the world.

OVERVIEW

The Ruslyn Cordwheel® is used by Defence, Homeland security, Emergency services, Diving, Mining, Audio visual, Broadcast Industry and many other fields worldwide. The Ruslyn Cordwheel is NATO codified NSN 8130/661533558 and approved for use by the Army, Navy and Air Force. It is utilised for cable management of explosive ordnance disposal cables and hook and line, Detonator Cord, Igniter Cord, Firing Cable, AWG number 18 and Lead in line, divers’ life line, communications and data cable, audio/visual cables, power supply cables, compressed air hose, rope, NDT tape, rope, chain, wire and safety ropes.


The Ruslyn Cordwheel® has a unique design which allows reels to be stacked together for cable management and transport in boxes and racking for storage.


A custom-made bracket is available which is NATO codified NSN 5340/661562603. The bracket is constructed using marine grade aluminium and is lightweight and extremely strong. It is supplied with 4 stainless mount screws enabling it to be fixed to vehicles, ships, planes and buildings.

PACK REEL 

The Ruslyn Pack Reel® is mainly used throughout the world by Army, Navy and Air Force. It is a small, lightweight, rugged and ergonomic hand-held unit. Primarily this reel is used to deploy hook and line, firing cable, Detonator cord, Igniter cord, communications cable, rope, wire and cord. The Pack Reel can be attached to webbing or simply carried in a pack. The Ruslyn Pack Reel is NATO codified NSN 8130-66-159-6431. 


Defence Organizations around the world have been looking for a general purpose lightweight small reel and the Ruslyn Pack Reel® meets all these requirements. It is currently used in New Zeeland, Australia, USA, Canada, The Middle East and throughout Europe.

SMOKELESS POWDER INFORMATION LOVEX BY EXPLOSIA

SINGLE BASE POWDERS

Nitrocellulose is the main ingredient (90-98%) of single base powders. Various additives such as stabilizers, surface treatment agents, flame reducing agents and ingredients affecting the burning characteristics are used as well. Most single base propellants produce at EXPLOSIA are surface coated to achieve progressiveness of burning.

DOUBLE BASE POWDERS

In addition to nitrocellulose, double base powders contain also nitroglycerine (8-23%) as an energetic component. These powders also contain a small percentage of stabilizers or other additives as the single base powders. Double base powders are of higher energetic value than the single base powders and their ballistic performance i.

  • SHOTGUN POWDERS

    D013

    A fast-burning, low density, double base disc propellant similar to Accurate Nitro 100 is most suitable for shotgun cartridges with 24 to 28g of shots and for some handgun cartridges.


    S015

    A fast-burning low density, single base, disc propellant similar to Accurate Solo 1000 is most suitable for shotgun cartridges with 24 to 28g of shots and for some handguns.


    S030

    A fast-burning, low density, single base tubular propellant most suitable for shotgun cartridges with 28 to 34g of shots.


    S035

    A fast-burning, low density, single base flake propellant most suitable for hunting

    shotgun cartridges with 32 to 36g of shots for 12mm calibre, also suitable for 16 and

    20mm calibres.


  • HANDGUN POWDERS

    S011

    A fast-burning, low density, single base, tubular propellant most suitable for .38 Special and.45 Auto cartridges. Also applicable for 7.65 Pi, 9mm Makarov, or 9mm Browning court cartridges. LOVEX fastest handgun propellant.


    D032

    A fast-burning, low density, double base, ball propellant similar to Accurate No.2. It is excellent in almost all handgun cartridges, especially where clean-burning is desirable.


    S020

    A fast burning, low density, single base, tubular propellant especially for use in the

    9mm Luger. Also suitable for many other pistol and revolver cartridges.


    D036

    A relatively fast burning, high density, double base, ball propellant similar to accurate No.5. In comparison with other LOVEX powders, it is useable in most handgun cartridges.


    D037.1

    High density, double base, ball propellant similar to Accurate No.7 designed for 9mm NATO carbine ammunition. Somewhat more specialized in applications than D032 and D036. It’s well suited to high-intensity cartridges. It is a good choice for .357, .41, and 44 Magnum cartridges, when slightly less than full powder loads are preferred.


    D037.2

    High density, double base, ball propellant similar to Accurate No.9 and is most suitable for .44Magnum. This propellant gives excellent velocities for the pressures generated and with less flash than other comparable powders. It is intended for use in large capacity handgun cartridges (.357, .41, .44 Magnum and .454 Casull). It is also suitable for some small rifle cartridges (.25-20 Winchester, .30 M1 Carbine) and the .410 Shotgun. It is the best with heavier bullets in most calibres. LOVEX slowest handgun powder.

  • RIFLE POWDERS

    S040

    High density, single base, tubular propellant suitable for .22 Hornet and .30 Carbine

    cartridges and for other small rifles. Also useable in high-capacity handgun

    cartridges


    D060

    High density, double base, tubular propellant similar to Accurate 5744 designed primarily for .45-70 Government, .45-120, and .50-90 Sharps cartridges and for reduced loads in all calibre rifles.


    S053

    High density, single base, tubular propellant most suitable for 7.62 x 39 and .22 Hornet cartridges. Also suitable for small capacity cartridges such as the T/CU series, the .222 Remington, and the .223 Remington with lighter bullets.


    D063

    High density, double base propellant, ball propellant similar to Accurate 1680 suitable for 7.62 x 39 and .22 Hornet cartridges. Also suitable for small capacity cartridges such as the T/CU series, the .222 Remington, and the .223 Remington with lighter bullets.


    S060

    High density, single base, tubular propellant similar to Accurate 2015. It is extremely flexible, giving excellent performance in many cartridges from .222 Remington to .458 Winchester Mag.


    D073.4

    High density, double base, ball propellant similar to Accurate 2230, which is one of the four most popular rifle powders. Designed for .223Remington (5.56 NATO).


    D073.5

    Medium burning, high density, double base, ball propellant similar to Accurate 2460 is useful in a wide variety of cartridges. It is slightly slower than D073.4 and shows a small pressure advantage over D073.4 in bores 7mm and over. Excellent in .308 Winchester, also suitable for M1 AND M14 service rifles.


    D073.6

    Medium to slow-burning. High density, double base, ball propellant similar to Accurate 2520 gives excellent results in medium capacity cartridges (.308 class) and in certain applications in large bore cartridges. It is the best choice for target shooters using 168-grain bullets in the .308 Winchester. D073.6 has a pressure curve appropriate for the use with M1 and M14 service rifles.


    S062

    High density, single base, tubular propellant similar to Accurate 4064 most suitable for 8x57 IS, .30-06, and other ball cartridges.


    S065

    High density, single base, tubular propellant most suitable for 7x57 cartridge and for other shotguns like 7x57 R, 7X65 R, and from 7x64 to 8x57 IS.


    S070

    High density, single base, tubular propellant similar to Accurate 4350 giving excellent performance from .243 Winchester and .270 Winchester cartridges to the largest Magnum cartridges.


    S071

    High density, single base, tubular propellant similar to Accurate 3100 giving excellent performance from .30-06 Springfield cartridges to the largest Magnum cartridges.


    D100

    Medium to slow-burning, high density, double base, ball propellant most suitable for.50 Browning cartridges.
